Bob Chinn's Crab House Norovirus Outbreak

In January, 2012 the Cook County Health Department began investigating a 146-person norovirus outbreak linked to Bob Chinn's Crab House in Wheeling, Illinois.

Bob Chinn's, which bills itself as the nation's fourth busiest restaurant, closed its doors on January 10, after multiple customers called to complain that they had become ill after eating at the restaurant. The restaurant was cleared to reopen the next day following cleaning and sanitizing.
